The Baltic Olympiad in Informatics (BOI) is a prestigious programming contest for secondary school students. The first contest was held in 1995 in Tartu, Estonia with three participating countries. Over the years, BOI has become an established event, and many new countries have joined the contest.
Today BOI welcomes participants from ten countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Norway, Poland, and Sweden. Each country is invited to send up to six participants. Additionally, representatives from other countries are often invited as guest participants.
The Baltic Olympiad in Informatics Archive contains information about past contests, including locations, tasks, and results.
